Painted from life. I need to spend the winter working on zinnia flower center florets, stigma, anthers. Haven't quite mastered yet.
This farm has amazing flowers. I discovered too late in the season but hope to enjoy more cut flowers next season. Their zinnia and cosmos gardens take my breath away.

Backroads -Old County Road, East Sandwich
Every summer this small pond on Old County Rd has water lilies which are difficult to get close to, protected by nature. I worked from my photo, painting oil on canvas without much detail. The sky is reflected in the water.
The water lilies on 6A are even harder to access, no safe place to pull over.
